Obituary

It is with regret that we announce the passing of Mr. Ronald Earl Hayhurst, age 83, of Fayetteville, TN. Mr. Hayhurst was born on February 10, 1936 in Dolton, IL to the late Rehnald and Jeanette Guthrie Hayhurst. He worked as a cabinet maker and owned Ron’s Custom Cabinets in Florida. He loved going to yard sales and collecting clocks. Mr. Hayhurst passed away on February 17, 2019 at his residence.

Survivors include his wife of 21 years, Donna Lee Melfy Hayhurst; children, Jeannie Haynes of Leesburg, FL, Allen (Michelle) Hayhurst of Leesburg, FL, and April (Larry) Hayhurst-Webb of Fayetteville, TN; granddaughter, Bailey Hayhurst; brother, Donnie (Jennie) Hayhurst of California; and special dogs, Mister Whiskers and Misty. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Gloria Hayhurst Cochron, and first wife, Mary Henderson Hayhurst.

No services are planned at this time. Higgins Funeral Home is honored to be serving the family of Mr. Ronald Earl Hayhurst.
