Funeral service for Mrs. Jeweldean Marie McBay Thompson, age 85, of Fayetteville, TN, will be conducted Saturday, August 20, 2016 at 1 p.m. at Higgins Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Riverview Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Thompson passed away Wednesday, August 17, 2016 at the Maury Regional Hospital.
Mrs. Thompson was a native of Lincoln County, TN, the daughter of the late Ed Lee and Gracie Lee Dollar McBay. She was a homemaker and a member of the West End Baptist Church.
Survivors include her children Wilson (Louise) Thompson of Fayetteville, Glenn (Fiancee: Shannon Barnes) Thompson of Vanntown, TN, Richard Thompson of Fayetteville, TN, Wanda (Andy) Humphrey of Florida, Marvin (Carolyn) Thompson of Lewisburg, TN, Larry Thompson, Jeff Thompson, Calvin (Lisa) Thompson all of Fayetteville, TN, sister Ruth (Bill) Ward of Blanche, TN, brother Houston (Geraldine) McBay of Fayetteville, TN, 7 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Jay H. Thompson, Jr. and 10 siblings.
Visitation with the family will be Friday evening from 5 until 8 p.m. at Higgins Funeral Home.
