Dear Frances,
This morning Barbara and I were talking about how much fun we had in the summer of 1955. Yours and Carmen’s name came up as wonderful friends and I wondered what you both were doing. Karen heard the conversation and looked on the computer and found this disappointing information that Carmen had passed away just a few months ago. Barbara, Karen and I wanted to send our condolences to you. How I wish I tried to contact Carmen earlier. We will be attempting to contact you.

We would like to offer our sincere sympathy for the loss of your husband/father. I feel that Carman raced into Heaven with Peace, Love and Pride knowing he had run his best race. Heaven gained a wonderful angel. Thank God for cherished memories and the knowledge that he was totally surrounded by love.
✿ May you feel the loving presence of God and those who hold you in their thoughts and prayers during this stressful period of Carman’s “home going.” and adjusting to life without Carman. Take care of yourselves and be comforted with the knowledge that Carman suffers no more. ✿
God Bless each of you,
