Obituary

Graveside service for Mrs. Zela McDougal, age 89 of Fayetteville, will be conducted Sunday at 2 p.m. at Prospect Cemetery with Bro. Jim Black officiating. Burial will be beside her husband Richard Simmons. Mrs. McDougal passed away Thursday night in Donalson Care Center.

A native of Lincoln County, Mrs. McDougal was the daughter of the late Frank and Lucy Osborne Towry, former employee of Serbin Fashions and a member of the Park City Church of Christ.

Survivors include two sons Rickey Simmons and Doug Elliott both of Fayetteville, four grandchildren, three great grandchildren, two step-grandchildren, six step-grandchildren, two great-great -grandchildren and sister-in-law Mary Towry.
Mrs. McDougal was preceded in death by infant daughter, Elizabeth Elliott, sisters Tina Mae Cowan, Dot Mason and brothers Herman and Dillard Towry.

Visitation with the family will be Sunday from 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society
