She was a wonderful person. Our son, Scott Boice had a brain tumor and she always wanted to know how he was doing. What a sweet lady!

Ms Winnie was one of the sweetest ladies I had the honor to meet and talk on several occasions with at Southern Manor. She was a very dear Christian lady who will be missed by so many. My prayers are with the family.

It tells us several times in the bible to be strong and courageous. There is no one who exemplified that more than Ms Winnie. She had many physical struggles including her mobility issues and her failing eyesight, but that never made her give up. She faced each new day with a plan to live it to the fullest. She participated in as many activities as she could. Everyday she got up dressed, including jewelry that matched the outfit, fixed her hair, put her makeup on, and put a brave smile on her face and enjoyed the day. she attended church as often as she could and could quote scripture as well as anyone. She would always say “I’ fine, fine”. She never wanted to be a burden. She was a wonderful example for us all. I hope I can always remember to be as strong and courageous as Ms Winnie Graham and never forget the inspiration she was. You will be missed Ms Winnie. I know you are dancing with the Angels today and your sight is as clear as a child’s. We love you

What a beautiful person and such a loving, caring teacher (1964). I have 7 siblings and I think most were in her class. As many of that time, we sometimes didn’t have proper clothes or enough food. She made sure we were able to eat at school and were never penalized because we didn’t have books or paper when needed. I recently told my 10 year old granddaughter about the most wonderful teacher I ever had. She wanted to know why I cried when I talked about her. I told her she made a huge difference in how I felt about teachers, education and love. I feel blessed by knowing her for such a short time. Enjoy your memories as I will mine and know that she is in a much better place where her love will continue to shine.
