Graveside service for William Wesley McMeen, age 63, of Kelso, TN, will be held at 3 PM on Tuesday, July 23, 2024, at Lincoln Cemetery. There will be no visitation prior to the graveside service.
Mr. McMeen was born on November 18, 1960, in Philadelphia, PA. He was loved by all who knew him and carried many names including Willie, Billy, and most importantly Pop! Willie was a 1978 graduate of Central High School and he enjoyed hunting and working on motorcycles and old cars. He worked 45 years with Copperweld, holding many positions during his employment, most recently in the Furnace Room. Willie passed away on July 19, 2024, at Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville, TN.
Survivors include his son, Bryan McMeen and his wife Bridget; grandchildren, Travis, Ella, William, Paige, and Lenley McMeen; brothers, James “Jimmy” McMeen, Charles “Chuck” McMeen, Jr. and his wife Becky; sister, Barbara McMeen; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.

Knew Billy and his brothers in my youth. My brother Jeff, who passed away 7 yrs ago, was a friend to Billy back in the day. So sorry for your loss. Thinking of the family at this time.
