I called him “Jim”, “Bill”, “William” and he always grinned!! He always treated everyone with respect and I will always love and appreciate that witness. I am so sorry to know that he is no longer on this earth but I am assured that I, and those who knew him, are better because he was in our lives. Prayers for peace and comfort to all his family.

To the Family of Jim March,
I am deeply saddened to hear of Jim’s death. I feel honored to have known him and called him my friend. He had that special way about him of leaving a lasting impression on other people’s lives. I will always remember him in his basketball shoes and ankle weights on days before a game. I live just around the corner from the old home place where he was raised. I came in contact with him some years back while he was visiting here. Even though he moved away and made a life for himself elsewhere, I was left with the feeling that a large part of his heart remained here in the Delina-Boonshill community where he grew up. I am so glad that he is being brought back home. May God be with each and every one of you. Sharon Lineberger Crabtree-Boonshill High Class of 1975
