Mr. William Chester (Buddy) Cook Jr. age 68, of Fayetteville passed away Tuesday March 30th in St. Thomas Hospital in Nashville. Mr. Cook was a native of Blue Diamond, KY and the son of the late Rev. Willie and Delores Sharp Cook. He was a veteran of the U. S. Air Force, retired from U. S. Army Missile Command and a member of the Egam Community Church.
Survivors include his wife Ernestine Campbell Cook of Fayetteville, children Roger William Cook and wife Gina of the Camargo Community and Pamela Cook Cummins and husband Joe Cummins III of Mulberry, grandchildren Tina Cummins Balch, Joe Cummins IV, Logan Cook, Andrew Cook and Brandon Cook, five great grandchildren, sisters Shirley Cook Baggett of Scottsboro, AL, Jean Cook McCarty of McDonough, GA, brothers James Cook of Flintville and Ron Cook of Odenville, AL.
A memorial service will be held at the Egam Community Church Saturday April 10, 2010 at 2 PM. Visitation with the family will be from 1 PM till time of service at the Church.
