Funeral services for Mrs. Willadean (PeeWee) Meeks, age 58, of Taft will be conducted at 11 AM Saturday at Higgins Funeral Home with Bro. Ronnie Curry officiating. Burial will follow in Gatlin Cemetery. Mrs. Meeks passed away Wednesday evening, November 4th, at Lincoln Medical Center.

A daughter of the late Elzie and Daisy Scott Bates, she was a native of Lincoln County, a homemaker, and a member of the Molino Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband of 40 years Ray Meeks of Taft, son Thomas Randall Meeks and special friend Shae Miles of Taft, and daughter Sharon Deanette Martin and husband David of Fayetteville, sisters Nancy Guthrie and husband Bob of Hazel Green and Patsy Dollar of Park City, grandchildren Trinity Meeks, Joshua , Andrew, Shayla, and Sophia Martin, and several nieces and nephews.  In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by infant sisters Dorothy Jean and Mary Alice Bates, brother Elzie Bates, Jr., and sister Lillie Sue Tunstill.

Visitation with the family will be from 5-8 PM Friday evening at Higgins Funeral Home.
