It is with regret we announce the passing of Wanda Faye Ridge age 80 of Hazel Green, AL. Graveside service will be conducted at 11 AM on August 16, 2021 at Riverview Memorial Gardens with Reverend Father George Panthananickal and Chaplin Randy Evers officiating. There will be no visitation prior to the service.

Mrs. Ridge was born April 12, 1941 in Philadelphia, TN to the late Bee and Marine Jewell Kiser Brookshire. Wanda was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church and she loved to read and loved her dogs. She passed away on August 12, 2021.

Survivors include her husband Robert Lee Ridge; daughters, Robin (Ray) Campbell of Huntsville, AL and Billie (Henry) Steedley of Athens, AL; grandsons, Jeffery Allen Dorning, Alan Michael (Brenda) Steedley, and Noah Steedley; great-grandchildren, William Salazar and Adali Mae Steedley; and her beloved dogs Tucker and Duncan. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brother, Robert Thomas Brookshire and her grandson, Robert Louis Dorning.
