Vivian Virginia Thomasson Langston, 93, formerly of Birmingham, AL passed away in Fayetteville, TN on Sunday, November 29, 2020, at Lincoln Manor.

Mrs. Langston was born on September 5, 1927 in Birmingham to the late Virgil Lee and Trudie Smith Thomasson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Ira Langston Jr.; her sister, Barbara Percer; and brother-in-law, Ted Percer.

She is survived by her daughter, Sandra Langston Arnett (Jerry); a granddaughter, Jennifer Tipps (Nigel) of Fayetteville; a grandson, Michael Arnett (Lea); and a great-granddaughter, Ella Grace Arnett of Marietta, GA.

Mrs Langston was employed for a number of years in the mortgage industry and upon her retirement was an assistant vice-president in the construction lending department of BancBoston Corporation. She attended Saint Mary Magdalene Episcopal Church.

A graveside service will be held Wednesday, December 2, 2020 at 12:00 noon at Valhalla Cemetery, 839 Wilkes Road, Midfield, AL with The Rev. Peter Whalen officiating.
