Graveside services for Mrs. Virginia Thompson, age 90, of Fayetteville will be conducted Sunday at 2 PM at Shiloh Cemetery with Rev. John Sanders officiating. Mrs. Thompson passed away Thursday evening, November 5 at Donalson Care Center.

A daughter of the late Vascar G. and Vallie Sue Harrison Mitchell, she was a native of Lincoln County, a homemaker, and a member of the Shiloh Methodist Church.

Survivors include her husband Horace (Mutt) Thompson of Fayetteville, nieces Linda Womack and husband Harold of Fayetteville, Vanda Hopper and husband Pat of Pulaski, Shannon Barnes and husband Doug of Fayetteville, Peggy Bailey and husband John of Louisville, KY, and Janice Holliday and husband John of Louisville, KY and nephews Ron Gault and wife Betty of Tullahoma and Roger Mitchell and wife Vickie of Louisville, KY.

There will be no formal visitation at the funeral home prior to services. Higgins Funeral Home is in charge of the services.
