Graveside services for Virginia Crabtree Kent, age 85 of Flintville, will be conducted Wednesday at 2:00 PM at Mulberry Cemetery with Bro. James Strope officiating. Burial will follow beside her husband John Wilson Kent who passed away in 1989. Mrs. Kent passed away Sunday at her residence.

She was a native of Lincoln County and a homemaker.

Survivors include two daughters Janie Kent and Nellie Kent both of Columbia, six sons Bob Kent of Flintville, Freddie Kent of Mulberry, J.C. Kent of Flintville, Jimmy Kent of Lynchburg, John Kent of Mulberry and Robert Kent of Fayetteville, one sister Mary Ellen Metcalf of Fayetteville, five grandchildren, two step-grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Visitation with the family will be Wednesday from 12:30 PM -1:30PM at Higgins Funeral Home.
