Funeral services for Mrs. Viola Tucker Smartt, age 69, of Fayetteville will be conducted
Wednesday at 1:00PM  at Higgins Funeral Home with Pastor James Holt and Kathleen Marr officiating.
Burial will follow in Prosperity Cemetery.  Mrs. Smartt passed away Saturday October 2nd at Donalson
Care Center.

She was a native of Lincoln County and the daughter of the late Carbell Tucker.  Mrs.Smartt was
former manager of  the cafeteria at Ralph Askins School and a member of the Northside Church of Christ.

Survivors include her husband Joe Lawton Smartt of Fayetteville, daughter Cynthia Ables of
Fayetteville, granddaughters Hollie Norton, Heidi Johnson, Valorie Mitchell and Jessica Mitchell all
Of Fayetteville, great grandchildren Lilly Johnson and Lawton Kaine Norton both of Fayetteville,
cousin Frances Epps Farmer of Donalson, TN and several nieces and nephews.   Mrs. Smartt was
preceded in death by daughter Pamela Rene Mitchell and a brother Billy Wayne Tucker.

Visitation with the family will be Tuesday evening 5-8PM at Higgins Funeral Home.
