Graveside services for Vellie Mae Sinyard Burch, age 92, of Fayetteville, will be conducted Thursday afternoon at 2PM at Mt. Garner Cemetery in Decherd, TN beside her husband Hollis Felton Burch. Mrs. Burch passed away Monday evening at her residence.

She was a native of Anderson, AL, daughter of the late  Andrew (Poppy) and Mattie Rogers  Sinyard, and was a member of the  Donaldson Grove Baptist Church .

Survivors include a granddaughter Kathy Marie Kent of Fayetteville, two great-granddaughters Jessica Branch Justice and husband Jason of Murfreesboro and Maegan Branch Knowles and husband Josey of Fayetteville, son-in-law Glenn Currin of Fayetteville and step-brother Jimmy Sinyard. Mrs. Burch was preceded in death by her husband Hollis Felton Burch, sisters Velma Sinyard Bullard, Lillie Forsythe, Louise Brackeen and daughter Edith Marie Currin. Visitation with the family will be Thursday from 11AM – 1PM at Higgins Funeral Home.
