Mrs. Treva Jewell Koonce, age 87, of Fayetteville, TN will be conducted at 11 AM on Monday, October 19, 2020 at Higgins Funeral Home with Bro. Larry Lindsey and Bro. Scott Nichols officiating. Burial will follow in Stewart Cemetery.
Jewell was born on April 27, 1933 in Madison County, AL to the late Ottis Lee and Louella Brooks Zumbro. Mrs. Koonce loved to cook, eat, tend to her flower beds and vegetable garden. She enjoyed traveling and gospel singing. Jewell was a member of the Howell Hill Baptist Church. She passed away on October 16, 2020 at Huntsville Hospital.
Survivors include her daughter, Sandra (Ricky) West; sons, Kenny Ray (Debbie) Koonce, and James Tony Koonce all of Fayetteville; grandchildren, Matt (Diana) West, Kerri (Chris) Shores, Justin (Rachel) Koonce; great-grandchildren, James Thomas West, Johnathan Matthew West, Jackson Tyler West, Olivia Paige West, RyLee Mae Shores, and Adalie Raegan Koonce; special friend, Marlena Price and Family; her church family at Howell Hill Baptist; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Jewell was preceded in death by her husband, James Wesley Koonce; three brothers; and four sisters.
Visitation with the family will be from 3 PM until 6 PM on Sunday, October 18, 2020 at Higgins Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Howell Hill Missionary Baptist Church, 312 East Prospect Road, Fayetteville, TN 37334.

Aunt Jewell was a wonderful aunt an person she will be missed by many but we will reunite one day. She is up there with Mama an all the other family members gone before her I know she is singing loud ❤❤❤
