It is with regret that we announce the death of Mr. Thomas Lloyd Young, age 88, of Fayetteville. Mr. Young passed away Sunday, February 28, 2016.

Mr. Young was a native of Madison County, AL, the son of the late Frank and Alice Scott Young. He worked for Amana and serviced in the Air Force for over 20 years and was a veteran of WWII, Korea and Vietnam. Mr. Young loved to cheer for his grandchildren’s sporting events and was very attentive to his siblings and their spouses.

Survivors include his granddaughter Jennifer Buchanan, great grandsons Chase and Chance Hernandez and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Foy D. Young, daughter Judy Wolkowski, brothers Floyd Young, Luther Young, Thurman Young, sister Lucille Moyers, Ruth Vaughan, Emma Durham, and Bertha Durham.
