Funeral services for Mr. Thomas Lester Hastings age 81, of Petersburg will be conducted Thursday at 10AM at Higgins Funeral Home with Bro. Harold Davis officiating. Burial will follow in Old Orchard Cemetery. Mr. Hastings passed away Monday October 19th at his residence.

He was a native of Lincoln County and the son of the late Allen and Elizabeth Warren Hastings.  Mr. Hastings was a farmer and a member of the Lone Oak Church of Christ at Richmond.

Survivors include his wife Martha Ruth Winsett Hastings of Petersburg, three sons Ronnie Lester Hastings , Robert David Hastings and Terry Mike Hastings all of Petersburg, daughter Marilyn Elizabeth Bowman of Atlanta, GA, grandchildren Jill Dunivan, Chad Hastings, Jeffery Taylor, Angie Gunnar, Melissa Mitchell, Ginger Parker, Dustin McDaniel, Leslie Calahan, Shelly Barron, Shannon Wells, Corey Beaver, Rudy Hastings, and 22 great grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by Carolyn Ruth Hastings.

Visitation with the family will be Wednesday evening 5-8PM at Higgins Funeral Home.
