Funeral service for Mr. Thomas Edward Hambrick, age 90, of Fayetteville, TN will be conducted at 2 PM on Sunday, December 13, 2020 at Higgins Funeral Home, with Bro. Randy Nichols officiating. Burial will follow in the Kirkland Cemetery.
Ed was born on October 19, 1930 in Lincoln County, TN, to the late Isom and Lucille Honea Hambrick. He worked for CFW as a truck driver, and hung sheet rock with his brother Bill for several years. Later Ed worked in the Coil Department at Amana for 22 years and as a line leader before retirement. After retirement, he worked for Cars Ink transporting automobiles. Ed was of the Baptist faith. He passed away on December 9, 2020 at Tennova Healthcare in Tullahoma, TN.
Survivors include his wife, Nelladean Whisenant Hambrick; daughters, Connie (Don) Gray of New Market, AL, Brenda Dugger of Shelbyville, TN, and Fonda Howard of Elora, TN; grandchildren, Brandon Gray, Alicia (Brandon) Marberry, Bridget Brick, Justin Howard, Josh Howard, and two step-grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; four step-great-grandchildren; sisters, Geraldine Crawley, Judy Stafford, Faye (Bill) Payne, and Carol Simms Young all of Fayetteville brother, Reece (Jennie) Hambrick of Fayetteville; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Ed was preceded in death by his sister, Hazel Simms, brother, Bill Hambrick, and step-son Ricky Fite.
Visitation will be from 12 PM until 2 PM on Sunday at Higgins Funeral Home.
