It is with regret that we announce the death of Mrs. Teresa L. Roop, age 55, of Fayetteville. Mrs. Roop passed away at her residence.

A daughter of the late Robert Oaks and Marceline Roberts who survives, she was a native Ft. McPherson, GA.

Survivors, in addition to her mother, include her husband Evert Roop of Fayetteville, daughter Tamara Blakmon of Fayetteville, granddaughter Serenity of Fayetteville, brother David Robert of Murphy, NC, aunt Dot of Murphy, NC, aunt Freda of Columbia, TN, aunt Audry of Murphy, NC, aunt Louise and uncle Roger of Murphy, NC. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her first husband Terry Blackmon.

Memorial services for Mrs. Roop will be conducted at 2 PM Saturday afternoon at Higgins Cedar Hills Memorial Gardens.
