Funeral services for Tammy Lyell Hanshaw, age 55 of Fayetteville, will be conducted Saturday at 11 AM at Higgins Funeral Home with Bro. Bobby Bates officiating. Burial will follow in Flintville Cemetery. Ms. Hanshaw passed away Wednesday at her residence.
A native of Lincoln County, she was the daughter of the late Oscar Herman and Patricia Gail Gray Lyell. She retired after 35 years as an LPN for the Lincoln County Health Systems and a member of the Heritage Baptist Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Jessica Bates and husband David of Fayetteville and Ashley Roland of Fayetteville, grandchildren Jonathan Bates, Abby Midgett, Sarah Bates, Lexie Roland, Jayden Pullen and Levi Bates, sisters Sandy Lancaster and husband Jerry (Weasel) of Fayetteville, Tera Simmons of Fayetteville, brothers Greg Lyell and wife Betty of Mulberry, Wayne Lyell of Fayetteville, Chris Lyell and wife Melanie of Fayetteville and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation with the family will be Friday evening 5-8 PM at Higgins Funeral Home.

Tammy was such a great person, had a big big heart. She was so wonderful to me when I started working at LMC. God bless you all, and I know heaven has a new angel.
