Funeral service for Elizabeth Howard, age 90 of Fayetteville, will be conducted Wednesday April 8, 2015 at 2 p.m. at Higgins Funeral Home with Bro. Ian Ploxham. Burial will follow in Lincoln Cemetery beside her husband Clark Howard. Mrs. Howard passed away Saturday April 4, 2015 at Fayetteville Health and Rehabilitation.
A native of Welton, KY, Mrs. Howard was the daughter of the late Arthur and Julia Engle Tye, retired from general safety and a member of the Lincoln Baptist Church.
Survivors include her son Noble Howard of Fayetteville, two grandchildren Clark and Kevin Howard, seven great-grandchildren Andrew, Phillip, Cody, Jonathan, Christina, Destiny and Aleah, two great-great-grandchildren Chloe and Maverick. Mrs. Howard was preceded in death by a granddaaughter Karen Prince.
Visitation with the family will be Tuesday evening 6-8 p.m. at Higgins Funeral Home.

I enjoyed Mrs. Elizabeth when visiting my Mom at Covenant Manor. She was a sweet and kind lady and very smart too. I send my regrets to her family.
My mom is Pauline Philpot and they shared meals at the same table at Covenant Manor and visited a lot together in the den area.
