It is with regret we announce the passing of Summer LaCarol Walden Arnold, age 40. Summer was born on November 22, 1978 in Lincoln County, TN and passed away on July 12, 2019 in Madison County, Alabama.
Survivors include her mother, Sonya (Leo) Walden; father, Martin “Marty” Edwin (Debbie) Arnold; son, Daylon Shane Closson; daughter, Makenzie Lea Closson; grandson, Carter Shane Closson; maternal grandmother, Martha C. Howell; maternal grandfather, Ronnie Tomes; paternal grandmother, Frances Arnold; sister, Winter Nicole Schwartz; half-brothers, Brandon Reyer, Nicolas Walden Lewis, Paul Hunter, and Dusty Arnold; half-sister Amber Arnold; and several nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
A graveside service will be held at 1:30 PM on Monday, July 15, 2019 at Pleasant Hill Cemetery with Bro. Eddie Graves officiating. Visitation with the family will be from 11 AM until 1 PM on Monday at Higgins Funeral Home.

Out of the whole Walden Klan Summer welcomed me with open arms and even after I left Cory she always kept in touch and we spoke every time we seen one another. She never judged me never treated me different bc of our separation. She had a beautiful soul and a friendliness and so happy. Even when things would go different from her plan she was always positive. She was loved by so many people and i will never forget her. She was the true definition of a angel among us. My prayers go out to her family and kids and friends. May God comfort you all. Love you Summer. Say hey to my momma for me and save me a spot. Rest in Peace Sweetpea..
