It is with regret we announce the death of Ryan Dale Oetken, age 34 of Cartersville, GA. Mr. Oetken passed away Sunday. He was a native of Burlington, IA and the son of Ronald and Janet Schwerin Oetken, and was a Quality Control Troubleshooter for Shaw Industries.
Survivors in addition to his parents include a son Caelin Dale Oetken of Cartersville, GA. He was preceded in death by a sister Julaine Marie Oetken Faulkner.
Services will be conducted later by Lunning Capel in Burlington, IA.

Rest in peace Julaine’s sweet baby brother. She loved you so much and I know you guys are together. Thank you so much for trying to protect our girl. I will love and miss you always.

We had a very good time with you at Cartersvill. We spent the Christmas day with your family, that was wonderful for us. That was the first time for us to spent the Christmas day in America. You left , broken my heart. I will miss you for ever. I love you, man. Hope you have good time in heaven with God.
Ryan was a good person and great friend. He will be missed, but not forgotten.
Ryan will always be remembered as someone who enjoyed life. It was an honor to know him.
