Graveside services for Mrs. Ruth Wheeler McAlister, age 95, of the Bellview Community will be conducted at 11:00am Thursday January 28th   at the Stateline Cemetery with Rev Charles Danner officiating.  Mrs. McAlister passed away Monday night in Lincoln Medical Center.

Higgins Funeral Home is in charge of services.

She was a native of Madison County, AL and the daughter of the late Walter and Lizzie Malone Wheeler.  She was a homemaker, former seamstress and a member of the Church of God.

Survivors include her daughter Wanda House of Fayetteville, two sisters Lillian Law of Toney, AL and Mary Sanford of Meridianville, AL, grandchildren Susan Payne of Ardmore, TN, and John House of Taft, TN, and great grandchildren, Elizabeth and Andrew Eakes and Jake House.

Visitation with the family will be Wednesday evening 4-7PM at Higgins Funeral Home.
