Obituary

Funeral services for Mrs. Ruth Elaine Bauer McDonald, age 72 of Fayetteville, will be conducted Saturday August 29, 2015 at 11 AM at Higgins Funeral Home with Rev. Tony Billions officiating. Burial will follow in Booneville Cemetery. Mrs. McDonald passed away Tuesday August 25, 2015 at her residence.
She was a native of Mt. Holly, NJ and the daughter of the late Estella Phillips Bauer and Rev. Kenneth Walter Bauer of Ashboro, NC who survives and the late Irene Bauer. She was a former bus driver and a member of the Oak Hill Baptist Church.
Survivors in addition to her father include daughter Kimberlie (Todd) Shelley of Plant City, FL, son Gary Kevin (Christine) Tuten of the Belleville Community, two sisters Claudia Mickel of Asheboro, NC, Faye (Mike) Caro of Miami, FL, two brothers Kenneth Robert (Jane) Bauer of Madison, AL, Paul (Deana) Bauer of Asheboro, NC grandchildren Megan and Stefan Shelley and Erin and Tate Tuten.
Visitation with the family will be Friday August 28, 2015 from 5-8 PM at Higgins
Funeral Home.
