Obituary

Ruth Burger Edwards of Fayetteville passed away on October 27, 2015 at the age of 84. She was a native of Isabella, TN and was married to the late William H. Edwards. She retired from Jack Daniel Distillery where she was an administrative assistant in the marketing department. She was also a member of the First United Methodist Church where she was active in Senior Neighbors. Survivors include: daughter Debbie Edwards Broadstreet; son-in-law David J. Broadstreet; grandson John William Pooser of Jacksonville FL; two sisters Carolyn Prince of Copperhill TN and Gwendolyn Galloway of Montgomery AL; nephews Dr. Charles Burger of Ponte Vedra Beach FL, Dr. William A. Edwards of Fayetteville, Jimmy Wells, David Edwards, Tommy Edwards, and Benny Edwards; nieces Liz Wells Knight of Germantown TN, Allison Edwards Green of Huntsville, and Betty Edwards Knott of Fayetteville; and sister-in-law Magaline Edwards of Fayetteville. No service is planned. Higgins Funeral Home is assisting the family.

    So sorry for your loss. Her mother Glee was my Aunt and her father Bob was my Uncle . Ruth was my double first cousin. I do not
    remember her too much as I was a good bit younger but I remember her as a very beautiful lady. My prayers will be with you her family.
