Dear Dot and Family: Please accept our sincere condolences on Russell’s death. I am so sorry to lose a life long friend – one whose influence on my life was immeasurable. I always looked to him for advice, direction, and guidance; he never failed to help. The world is a better place because of his Christian influence. Mrs. Dot and Family,
We regret we are not be able to attend Russell’s visitation or services due to illness. We enjoyed knowing and talking to Russell over the years. It especially saddened us when he could no longer go to our Donalson singings. He was always sociable and enjoyed visits. It was sad as he became increasingly unable to participate. We will miss his good humor, smiles, and friendly comments. We thank God for the blessing he was to us and for the blessing you continue to be.
Love, Jim and Shirley
