Graveside funeral services for Mrs. Ruby Lee Williams Sydnes (pronounced Sydneys), age 88, of Fayetteville will be conducted at 3:30pm Saturday at Kirkland Cemetery. Mrs. Sydnes passed away Saturday morning in Lincoln Care Center.

A native of Florida, she was a daughter of the late Audley and Lessie Crutchfield Williams, retired from Redstone Arsenal, and a member of the Church of Christ.

Survivors include sons Bill Sydnes and wife Janice of Bryn Mawr, PA and Jim Sydnes and wife Debbie of Fayetteville, brother Gene Williams of NC, 11 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, two step-great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, and lifelong friend Alice Smith of Fayetteville. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister Willie Williams Register and brothers James and Johnny Williams.
