Judy and family, I am so sorry to learn of Roy’s passing. As teens we worked together and were close friends. Men of his great character seem to be few today. I’m sure Jesus greeted him home with “Well done good and faithful servant”.
My deepest sympathy to the family of Mr. Roy. May the good memories help you through to brighter days.
Judy and family,:
We were so sorry to learn of Roy’s passing just tonight. Your family has been a great friend for many years. May you be comforted and find peace in knowing that Roy lived a Christian life and has gone to be with the Lord. He will certainly be missed. Love to all
Roy Jones was THE CONNECTION between the building supply industry and the builders of F-LC and area who never questioned his advice. I recall him unloading boxcars 2 x 4’s piece at a time from rail tracks at Williams Lumber Co. when he was 16-17 yrs. of age. From there he immersed himself into the business and grew to be THE building supply expert whom all sought his assistance whether it be an outdoor shed or a commercial structure.
Make no mistake about it there will never be a ROY JONES as a “go to” guy in this area for help and advice in the building supply business.
God rest Roy’s soul.
Judy, Family and friends ,I’m so sorry to hear about Roy’s passing. My thoughts and prayers are with you all at this sad time. In sympathy.

To the Family of Roy and friends. He was always a pleasure to work with on projects!
He will be missed by all who knew him. You will be in my prayers.
I am so very sorry for the loss of Mr. Roy. I first knew him as a child when I would go in the lumber company with my daddy – my daddy thought the world of Mr. Roy and as I got older, it was easy to see why. He was a wonderful, Christian family man and he carried that with him into his work environment where he treated everyone he came in contact with with great care and dignity. That is a trait that is slowly getting harder and harder to find, but it was very evident in Mr. Roy. My thoughts and prayers are with you all in the coming days.
Roy was a tremendous influence on my life during my teenage years and I will always cherish those interactions with him that helped me shape my life.
Our thoughts and prayers are with Judy and family
Judy and family, my heart aches to learn of your loss. We are just never prepared to lose the love of our life. And being the selfish humans we are, we want what we want. But God’s plan is always perfect. I know you know that. Remember you are loved, my friends. I won’t be able to attend the service as I will be out of town, but know I am with you in spirit.
