I just found out about Ron’s passing. I worked with Ron in Huntsville at M&S Computing and Intergraph during the 80’s; we shared an office for a few years and I came to know Ron very well both in the office and on the golf course. I respected Ron as much as any man I’ve ever known; he was very intelligent, super knowledgable about many subjects, and yet very humble, always willing to share his knowledge and explain complicated concepts in an understandable way. I’m sure all the people he ever worked closely with felt the same way about Ron. I’ll always remember the way he described himself as a ‘baby GOrilla’… 🙂 My sincere condolences to his family; he was a great man and will be missed by many!
