Obituary

Funeral service for Ronald Wayne Scott, age 73, of Fayetteville, TN will be held at 11am on Thursday, December 22, 2022, at Higgins Funeral Home with Bro. Ennis Hyman officiating. Burial will follow at Riverview Memorial Gardens. Visitation with the family will be from 10am until 11am on Thursday at Higgins.

Ronnie was born May 19, 1949, in Lincoln County, TN to the late Thomas and Sara J. Edminson Scott. He was a 1969 graduate of Central High School and a City of Fayetteville Police Officer from 1976-2009. Ronnie passed away December 20, 2022, at his residence.

Survivors include his son, Brent Scott; daughter, Ronnica (Drew) Crouch; grandchildren, Aiden, Sophia, and Abigail Crouch; nieces, Vangie (Ralph) Holsted, and Megan (Nathan) Browning; and nephew, Thomas Scott (Miguel Hurtado). In addition to his parents, Ronnie was preceded in death by his brother, James Scott.
