My Dear Amy and children,
Words can not express the sorrow I feel now for you and the family. My Ronnie was such anexample of a fine Christian man. Hw was always so pleasant. I guess what one of the boys commented was the only way to explain the timing, I guess God needed a song leader and herdsman. May you be comforted at this time and God wrap his loving arms around you till we meet again.
With love,
Debbie Taylor

Amy … I first met Ronnie when he joined the Tennessee Farmers Cooperative’s management training program so many years ago. Throughout my Co-op career, Ronnie — and you, too — supported me in my work, and you don’t know how much I appreciated that. Ronnie was one of the finest men I’ve ever known, and I was always impressed by his commitment to Co-op and agriculture in Tennessee. Please know that you and the rest of the family have my deepest sympathy. I’m remembering all of you in my prayers..
Amy, John, Thomas and Susan,
If you ever had any doubt you need only look at the number and geographic distribution of all the many tributes already posted to know in what exceptionally high regard Ronnie was held by a very great number of people. His unfailing kindness, courtesy and good humor come through very clearly in virtually every message and reflect the kind of person who will be so greatly missed and fondly remembered by his family, friends and community.

Ronnie will be missed. He always did what he said he would, and did it with a smile on his face. He was always kind and considerate and he actually cared. We will be praying for everyone.
To Amy and children,
The friendship our families have shared over the years has always meant so much to us. We are sorry that we can not be there Saturday or Sunday. Had to take Johnny to the ER Friday morning with an attack of his Menieres. He is still at home dealing with the vertigo problem. We will have all of you in our thoughts and prayers.
In Christian love,
Johnny & Myrna

Amy,
I am so sorry for your loss. Ronnie was a dear brother-in-Christ and a wonderful man. Ronnie never met anyone who he didn’t treat as a friend. I will never forget the way he showed God’s love to those he met in Honduras. He didn’t let a little thing like not understanding Spanish keep him from talking to everyone he met. Heaven’s gain is our loss. May God comfort you and your family during this difficult time!
Thinking of you all and praying for your family. I am so sorry for your loss.
May God bless and keep you all in His embrace,
Wanda Shelton

It is a shock and a sadness to hear of Ronnie’s passing. From my first days working in the Coop system Ronnie Osteen stood out among the rest. His humble demeaner. His ready smile and laugh. His genuine concern for the farmer and those all around him. He will be missed I’m sure most by his family, but also by his friends and customers. The world could you a lot more like Ronnie.
Amy, please call me if I can do anything for you or the kids.
Your friends in Christ,
Brian and Hannah Julian
Ronnie is one of the nicest people I have ever known. He was a devoted Christian, father and friend to everyone. I send my love to all the family.
I considered Ronnie a close personal friend and will miss him greatly. But will always honor him with the memory of what a humble man he was and his willingness to serve others. He was an example of Christ and I’m honored to have been able to be around him!
Ronnie left a Godly Legacy here on earth and will missed by all’
Sending our deepest sympathy to all the Osteen family. Our community has lost a good person. Ronnie was a fine man and we were honored to call him our friend. We pray that your precious memories will bring comfort to you at this difficult time.
In Christian Love,
Peggy & Virgil Bevels
Ronnie was a great friend and mentor. I will never forget his encouragement and confidence he put in me as I worked with him over the past 25 years. Ronnie was a great example of how a Christian should act in a daily enviornment. His love for life and his constant positive attitude has always been an example for me to follow. Amy and the family can be sure that ronnie was a great influance on those who worked at the Co-op but also those who he contacted in the field of agriculture all across the country. I share his love for cattle and will dearly miss my conversations with him about what to feed, blood lines, showing, etc. God Bless You All.
PSALM 116:15
You all know that if there were something I could say or do, I would have already said it or done it. I just want you all to know that I will always look fondly on the memories I have of Ronnie, thanks for sharing him with me. May the light of God surround you, the love of God enfold you, the power of God protect you, and the presence of God watch over you! Keep this in mind, no two Christians ever meet for the last time. Love you guys, Stacy
