Funeral services for Mr. Ronald Alan Dunivan, age 60, of Fayetteville will be conducted at 2PM Wednesday at Higgins Funeral Home with Bro. Sonny Moore officiating.  Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery.

Ronald Alan Dunivan departed this life on Sunday (January 18, 2009) at his home on Cashion Lane in Fayetteville, TN.  He was born January 13, 1949 and is the son of Roberta Matlock Dunivan and the late Eddie Dunivan, Jr.  He graduated with honors in 1969 from Central High School Fayetteville, TN.  He attended MTSU before joining the U.S. Army in 1968. He served two years being stationed in Vietnam and Okinawa.  After returning home, he graduated from the University of Georgia.  He was an avid Bulldog fan.  He received a doctorate in pharmacy.  He had been a pharmacist in many area pharmacies and worked with CMOP filling mail order drugs for veterans. He loved music, books, animals, movies and grandchildren.

In addition to his mother he is survived by his devoted wife Betty Lou Maddox Dunivan of Fayetteville two sons Matthew Dunivan of Fayetteville and Jeremy Pirtle and wife LeaAnn of Paducah, KY, one daughter Aimee Grogan and fiancé Charlie Kennedy, five grandchildren Ashleigh Dunivan of Fayetteville, Jordan Grogan of Fayetteville, Maddie Kennedy of Fayetteville, Dalton Pirtle of Paducah, KY, and Annie (unborn) to be delivered 1/23/09 Paducah, KY, a very special friend Mike Duggin and a host of many friends and family.  Ronald was a Christian and loved reading the Bible.

Visitation with the family will be Tuesday evening after 5pm at Higgins Funeral Home.
