Funeral services for Robert Lee Moyers, age 89 of Fayetteville, will be conducted Saturday at 2 PM at Higgins Funeral Home with Bro. Richard McWilliams officiating. Burial will follow in Kirkland Cemetery. Mr. Moyers passed away Thursday morning in St. Thomas Hospital.

Mr. Moyers was a native of Lincoln County and the son of the late John and Maila Washburn Moyers. He was a veteran of the US Army serving during WW II and was a member of the Wells Hill Church of Christ. He was a route driver for Beatrice Foods for 35 years in Nashville and following his retirement moved back to Lincoln County in 1990.

Survivors include his wife Annie Gertrude Head Moyers of Fayetteville, daughter Linda Ward (John) of Lynchburg, son Robert David Moyers of Nashville, six grandchildren Jay Mansfield, Mark Mansfield, Robby Waldron, Christy Millsaps, J. T. Ward and Brittany Moyers and seven great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a daughter Brenda K. Waldron.

Visitation with the family will be Saturday from 12 PM until time of service at 2 PM at Higgins Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Red Cross or the Wells Hill Church of Christ.
