Funeral services for Robert Lee Brewer, age 83 of Fayetteville, will be conducted Thursday December 10, 2015 at 11 AM at Higgins Funeral Home with Bro. Ed Johnson and Bro. Ian Bloxham officiating. Burial will follow in Riverview Memorial Gardens beside his son Robert “Bob” Brewer who passed away in November 2005. Mr. Brewer passed away Monday December 7, 2015 at his residence.
A native of Lincoln County, Mr. Brewer was the son of the late Richard Dickson and Annie Ruth Williams Brewer. He was a veteran of the U. S. Air Force, was a painter with Mid-South Painting and a member of the Baptist Faith. Mr. Brewer loved fishing with his grandchildren.
Survivors include his wife Mary Ann Harwell Brewer, daughters Cindy (Mike) Crosslin, Regina (Eddie) Braden, grandchildren Robby (fiance’ Jessi) Crosslin, Dakota Crosslin and Christopher Braden.
In addition to his parents and his son, Mr. Brewer was preceded in death by brothers William “Bill” Brewer and Maurice Brewer.
Visitation with the family will be Wednesday evening December 9, 2015 from 5-8 PM at Higgins Funeral Home.

I’m sure going to miss Robert on Wednesday nights. I sat next to him at the table and we all had fun laughing and talking. He was a good man and our family is really going to miss him. Our sympathy goes out to Mary Ann & family.
