Mrs. Connelly
Mary Jane,
We are so sorry to hear about Gene. We only found out when the Herald Chronical arrived on Tuesday, November 13. Otherwise, the few old timers still left in Hopkins Point would have been in Fayetteville. We have missed you both in Hopkins Point. Wayne and I talk often about “Captain Carp” while fishing for strippers most summer mornings on Tims Ford.
Our sympathies, warm thoughts, and prayers will remain with you and your family.
