Memorial service for Mr. Robert Allen Rogers, age 74, of Tullahoma, TN, will be conducted Monday, May 16, 2016 at 7 p.m. at Higgins Funeral Home. Mr. Rogers passed away Saturday, May 14, 2016 at Huntsville Hospital.
Mr. Rogers was a native of Madison County, AL, the son of the late Henry Thomas and Callie Mae Beagle Rogers. He owned and operated Rogers Roofing for many years and was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include his wife Audrey Lee Rogers of Tullahoma, TN, daughters Glenda Honey (Bobby Eslick), Theresa (Dwayne) Cheeves all of Fayetteville, TN, step-daughters Janice (J.R.) Henderson, Joyce Martin all of Manchester, TN, grandchildren Robbie (Lacey) Honey, Brittany Rogers, Lucas (Melissa) Garrett, Philip Hall, Patric Hall, Haley Gray, great grandchildren Lane, Kylie, Lexia, Jaden, Kingsley, Blaine, Gabriel, Tatum, sisters Virginia Wilburn of Ardmore, Becky McDaniel of Lewisburg, and brother James Ray Rogers of Nashville. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by son Thomas “Tim” Rogers.
Visitation with the family will be Monday, May 16, 2016 from 3 until 7 p.m. at Higgins Funeral Home.

He was a very strong person and fought those long hard battles. He is no longer in pain.
I like to think that he is on a roof in heaven, or walking and dancing.
Such a good hearted man will be missed . Will be missed at the Farmer’s Market he was such a great help will not be the same.

Rogers family, I am so sorry for your loss. Robert was a wonderful man. He had such a fun filled spirited heart. Robert always had a smile on his face even when he didn’t feel good. Over the last couple of years Robert has had a tough life health wise but he fought hard till the very end. His thoughts were always of helping someone else. He will certainly be missed. Prayers for your family that you have left behind Robert, but we will all see you again in Heaven one day. Love you my friend.

Rogers family….so sorry for your loss. ..all of us at Lynchburg therapy enjoyed working with him and will miss him very much. He fought quite a battle.
Daddy loved y’all very much. Lynchburg was his second home.
He did fight a long hard battle. He is now able to walk and dance.
