Funeral service for Mr. Richard Ray Steelman, Jr. age 47, of Fayetteville, TN will be conducted at 4 PM on Sunday, September 15, 2019, at Higgins Funeral Home with Bro. Ley Jean officiating. Burial will follow in Stewart Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be held at 1 PM until time of service at 4 PM on Sunday at Higgins.
Richard was born on February 29, 1972 in Huntsville, AL to the late Richard Ray Steelman and Sandy Steelman. He served in the United States Marine Corp and was a self-employed auto paint and dent repairmen. Richard passed away on September 12, 2019 at his residence.
Survivors include his wife, Amanda Steelman; children, Brittany Steelman, Matthew Steelman, Madison McCormick and Chase McCormick; grandchildren, Atlas Freeman; mother, Sandy Steelman all of Fayetteville, TN; sister, Christy (Ryan) Chamblee; nieces, Hannah and Emma Chamblee; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Jerry and DeDra Baker; brother-in-law, Chad Baker; and grandfather-in-law and grandmother-in-law, Harold and Peggy Bradford.
