Over the years, I have many good memories of Peggy. We were first cousins. She was a few years older than me and I always looked up to her. I saw her more as I was growing up than after we both married and went our separate ways. When I was young, I always enjoyed going to her parents’ home and visiting with Peggy, Maurine and Pauline. We were always so excited when they came to our home for a visit. When I was a teenager and we visited in their home, Peggy was always dressed and waiting for Ralph to come visit her. We got to know Ralph before they were married and all our family was very fond of Ralph. Their wedding was so pretty. All the bridesmaids carried flowers tied with ribbon of many colors. I thought that was so pretty. Peggy attended our Jobe reunions as long as Ralph lived but after he passed away, she told me she didn’t want to attend because Ralph wasn’t there to go with her. He was the love of her life. I saw Peggy at her home about 3 years ago. She seemed to be in good health and had found a way to be contented in her own home which I was so happy to see. She talked about her children and grandchildren every time I saw her. She loved her family.
I’m glad I had her as a cousin and will miss her very much.

I had many great experiences with Peggy as we volunteered at Lincoln Care Center. She was a terrific lady.

Peggy was a wonderful lady. My mother-in-law worked with her for years. So sorry for your loss.
