Obituary

It is with regret we announce the passing of Paul Leo Rosick, age 83, Fayetteville, TN formerly of Glen Lyon, PA. Paul was born June 4, 1944, in Nanticoke, PA to the late Walter and Lillian Brojakowski Rosick. He passed away July 27, 2023, at Donalson Care Center in Fayetteville.

Paul was a mechanic by trade, and most remembered as the Maintenance Director at Moon Lake County Park in Luzerne County, PA. He had an outgoing personality and enjoyed being active in the community and local politics in Luzerne County. Paul was a “MacGyver” and could fix almost anything. Even after retiring and moving to Tennessee, he loved being outside and was always tinkering on something. Paul loved his family dearly and enjoyed spending time with those he loved.

Survivors include his daughter, Debbie Betz and husband Greg of Meridianville, AL; grandsons, Shawn, Tyler, and Jason Betz; sister, Eleanor Balmoos of E. Stroudsburg, PA; sister-in-law, Shirley Summerfield of Wilkes-Barre, PA; and brother-in-law, Ronald (Jan) Sechak of Florida; as well as several nieces, nephews, and extended family members. In addition to his parents, Paul was preceded in death by his wife of 57 years, Linda Sechak Rosick; and his brother, John Rosick.

There are no services planned at this time. Higgins Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Paul Leo Rosick.
