Obituary

Funeral service for Mrs. Patsy Phillips Gilliam, age 75, of Fayetteville, TN will be conducted at Higgins Funeral Home Friday, April 7 at 1pm with Rev. Doug Watt officiating. Visitation with the family will be from 11am to 1pm. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery.

Patsy was born in Lincoln County to the late Lenard and Geneva Thrower Phillips. Mrs. Gilliam passed away Saturday April 1, 2023, at Maury Regional. Patsy was Past Director of Lincoln County A.R.C.  She was truly devoted and dedicated to both L.C.A.R.C. and Special Olympics.

Survivors include her son Ashton Hahn, brother Miles (Donna) Phillips, nephews Chris (Shelby) Phillips, Jason (Reagan) Carlton, niece Trina (Michael) Mann, two great nephews and seven great nieces. She was preceded in death by her parents, son Craig Gilliam, and sister Linda Yvette Phillips.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Tennessee Special Olympics Area 13, 33 Acorn Drive, Tullahoma, TN 37388.

Higgins Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Mrs. Patsy Phillips Gilliam.
