Obituary

Funeral service for Mrs. Patricia Ann “Pat” Dye age 69, of Kelso will be conducted Tuesday, November 8, 2016 at 2 p.m. at Higgins Funeral Home, with Bro. Scottie Case and Bro. Ronnie Case officiating. Burial will follow in Shady Grove Cemetery. Mrs. Dye passed away November 5, 2016 at her residence.

A native of Lincoln County, she was the daughter of the late Edward B. and Maudie Mae Mearse Taylor. She was a quality control supervisor for the Lee Company and a member of the South Pittsburg Holiness Church. She enjoyed fishing, sewing, cooking, living on the farm and listening to Elvis and gospel music. She and Loyad shared fifty years together and were blessed with children and grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband Loyad Dye of Kelso, TN; children Felicia (Wesley) Barnett of Lynchburg, TN, Patrick (Brandi) Dye of Fayetteville, TN, Jamey (Candice) Dye of Kelso, TN; grandchildren Sarah Dye, Joshua Dye, Addie Dye, Serenitee Dye, Julia Dye; sisters Barbara Quick, Jeanette Hillis, Anita Jeans, Rochelle Russell, Elizabeth Stines, Debbie Mitchell, Rebecca Turner, brothers Larry Taylor and David Taylor. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by grandchildren John Luke Dye, Cydnee Grace Dye; brother Robert Taylor and sister Eddie Mae Bullard.

Visitation with the family will be Tuesday, November 8, 2016 from 12 until 2 p.m. at Higgins Funeral Home.
