I was deeply saddened to hear of Coach Sarver’s passing today. She was an amazing woman and instrumental in my development as a player and person. My time spent as one of her athletes at both Motlow State and Middle TN State University were some of the best times of my life, due in large part to Coach Sarver. She was a pioneer for women’s athletics and will always remain an integral part of my life. Her legacy lives on in those of us that had the privilege to know her through the sport of basketball. Thanks “Sarve”.

Into your hands, O merciful Savior, we commend your
servant Patricia. Acknowledge, we humbly beseech you, a sheep of your own fold, a lamb of your own flock, a sinner of your own redeeming. Receive her into the arms of your mercy, into the blessed rest of everlasting peace, and into the glorious company of the saints in light. Amen.
May her soul and the souls of all the departed, through the
mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.

Pat was an angel on earth and she will surely look down upon us as we continue our journey into life everlasting.

My love and blessed assuarance go to Pam and Phillip, Anit and my sweet, sweet Christy…my friend.

My heart aches but I know that Pat is laughing her ass off in heaven soaking in all the promises of everlasting life.

    I will forever love you.

So sorry to learn of Pat’s passing, she was always so nice to me. Mr & Mrs. Sarver were precious also. We enjoyed each other’s company at the Museum. I did not know of the service until it was too late to attend. May your wonderful memories and God help carry you through this difficult time.
    God Bless you,
