Obituary

Graveside service for Mr. Oscar Melvin Henderson age 82 of Fayetteville, will be conducted Sunday at 3 p.m. at Pleasant Grove Cemetery with Rev. Eddie Graves officiating. Mr. Henderson passed away Saturday at his residence.

A native of Albertville, AL. He was the son of the late Carrie Lee Roberts and Gilbert B. Henderson, a retired Millwright worker, was in the Army and a member of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include his wife Annie Henderson of Fayetteville, TN, daughter Susan Michelle Ingle of Anniston, AL, sons Paul Henderson of Flintville, TN, and Christopher Henderson of Bradenton, FL grandchildren Heath and Tiffany Nave, Christopher and Zachary Henderson and Shannon and Brent Ingle, and 6 great grandchildren, sister Virginia Darden of Naples, FL, brother Alfred Henderson of Washington, IL, and several nieces and nephews. Mr. Henderson was preceded in death by his daughter Roxanne Nave.

There will be no visitation prior to the graveside service. Higgins Funeral Home is assisting the family.
