It is with regret that we announce the passing of Mrs. Nancy Cleve McGee Jackson, age 76, of Fayetteville, TN. Visitation with the family will be held at 5 PM until 7 PM on Sunday, August 4, 2019, at Higgins Funeral Home. There will be no public service.
Nancy was born on April 3, 1943 in Fayetteville, TN to the late Cowden and Lucille Beckham McGee. She was a member of Fayetteville First Baptist Church. She earned her bachelors degree from the University of Tennessee in Chattanooga. Nancy was was an avid Rooke player, enjoyed gardening, and loved her dogs and cats. Mrs. Jackson passed away on August 2, 2019 at Maury Regional Hospital.
Survivors include her husband of 55 years, Bill Jackson; daughters, Leigh Jackson of Birmingham, AL and Jane (Jonathan) Crosby of Wetumpka, AL; grandchildren, Elizabeth and William Crosby; sister, Jane McGee (Bruce) Tully of Meridianville, AL; and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Fayetteville – Lincoln County Humane Society at 1718 Pulaski Hwy, Fayetteville, TN 37334.
