Funeral service for Ms. Nancy Bess Hopkins Harton, age 89, of Huntsville, AL, will be conducted at 1 PM on Friday, July 23, 2021 at Higgins Funeral Home with Bro. Steve Hale officiating. Burial will follow in the Stateline Cemetery, beside her husband, Vance Harton.

Nancy was born on November 25, 1931 in Lincoln County, TN to the late Ewin and Nancy Veona Burton Hopkins. She loved quilting, collecting dolls, and ceramics. Ms. Harton was a member of the Plainview Church of Christ. She passed away on July 21, 2021 at her residence, surrounded by her loving family.

Survivors include her children, Janet (Randy) Jenkins of Hazel Green, AL, Kinney Harton of Madison, AL, and Van (Leigh Ann) Harton of Huntsville, AL; grandchildren, Toby (Bethany) Jenkins, Brent (Annessa) Jenkins, Katie (Andy) Norris, Jenny Riggs, Alyssa (Ryan) Smith, Rachel Uhrig, Grace Marshall, and Laura Marshall; great-grandchildren, Caleb, Kyle, and Adeline Norris, Emery and Walker Jenkins, Parrish and Preston Riggs, and Kate and Carter Uhrig. In addition to her parents and husband, Nancy was preceded in death by a great-granddaughter, Aslin Marie Jenkins.

Visitation with the family will be from 11 AM until 1 PM on Friday at Higgins Funeral Home. Memorial may be made to the Plainview Church of Christ, P.O. Box 400, Hazel Green, AL 35750.
