I remember Mrs Peggy was so very nice when I was growing up as their next door neighbor on Morningside Drive. Just wasn’t the same when y’all moved. So very sorry to hear of her passing. Prayers to the family.

We only got to know Ms. Peggy two years ago after joining the Washington St. church of Christ. But in that short time, we grew to love Ms. Peggy just as so many other members of the church had done. As an always smiling, always appreciative and always a faithful Christian lady, she will be greatly missed.

Words cannot adequately express the value she was to my ministry while in Fayetteville and the real blessing she was to the entire congregation and the work of Christ at large. She is irreplaceable in my estimate.

Thank you, Lord, for such a faithful servant as Ms. Peggy. And thank you for allowing me the privilege of working alongside her for Your glory. In Christ. Amen.

Ms. Peggy was the same every time you saw her with a smile for everyone & love in her heart. There was always something that made her unforgettable – a combination of attractiveness & Godliness. She is no doubt rejoicing to be with our Lord to receive her reward for a life well lived! My prayers go to you the family as you say goodbye to her in this life. May we all strive to follow her example and be the best person we can be, loving one another. 🙂
