Obituary

Funeral services for Mrs. Mildred Stewart Cooper, age 89, of the Hot Rock Community of Lincoln County, will be conducted Wednesday morning at 10:30am at Higgins Funeral Home with Bro. John Risse (REESEY) officiating.  Burial will follow in the Shiloh Cemetery.

A native of Lincoln County, Mrs. Cooper was the daughter of the late W. A. and Maggie Watt Stewart and the wife of Harry L. Cooper who died in World War II.  She was a teacher, member of the Retired Teacher Association and a member of the Dellrose Church of Christ,

Mrs. Cooper is survived by her son: Ronald S. Cooper and wife Linda H. Cooper of Murfreesboro, granddaughter: Amy C. Reasonover and husband Rob, and Carol C. Schroer and husband Barry both of Murfreesboro, great-grandsons: Thomas Reasonover and Stewart Schroer, both of Murfreesboro, and great-granddaughters: Libby and Anna Reasonover and Cate Schroer all of Murfreesboro.

The Cooper family will receive friends at Higgins Funeral Home Tuesday evening from 4-8PM.  Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 201 West Lincoln Street, Tullahoma, TN 37388 or the Dellrose Church of Christ, c/o Margaret Ellis, 242 B Bugtussle Road, Fayetteville, TN 37334.
