Funeral services for Michael Hugh Claiborne II, age 25, of Winchester will be conducted Wednesday at 10AM at Higgins Funeral Home with Rev. Billy Langford officiating.  Burial will follow in the Kirkland Cemetery.  Mr. Claiborne passed away Sunday at Southern Tennessee Medical Center in Winchester.

He was a native of Orange Park, FL, the son of Michael Hugh and Lori Carbone Claiborne of Fayetteville, and a deputy for the Franklin County Sheriff’s Department.

Survivors in addition to his parents include his son Kollin Reese Claiborne, grandmother Nelda Dye of Fayetteville,  aunts Judy Vallese of Rhode Island,  Nancy Shipley of Pensacola, FL, Kathy Baker and husband Phillip of Kelso, Jean Baker and husband Paul of Kelso, uncle Lynn Dye and wife Donna of Fayetteville, cousins Christopher, Jonathan, Shannon and David Baker all of Kelso, Brandie Rogers, Jenna and Clint Dye of Kelso, Kim, Paul, Kasey, Savannah and Lauren McCleary of Pensacola, FL, Tammy and Patty Vallese of Rhode Island and Tommy Vallese of CT.

Visitation with the family will be Tuesday from 2PM-5:30PM and 6-9PM at Higgins Funeral Home.  In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been set up for his son Kollin Reese Claiborne at U. S. Bank.
